The Ligue 1 giants were strongly linked to the prolific forward during the summer transfer window. However, Osimhen opted for a season-long loan move to Galatasaray, the reigning champions of the Turkish Super Lig.
Galatasaray’s Clause Complicates Deal
Osimhen’s loan agreement with Galatasaray includes a significant €75 million buyout clause, effective in January.
Any club vying for the Nigerian international’s signature will need to pay this sum, plus an additional fee to break his current contract with the Turkish side.
Impressive Form Amid Recovery
Despite currently recovering from a muscle injury, Osimhen has delivered stellar performances this season.
He has netted 10 goals and provided five assists in just 13 appearances across all competitions for Galatasaray.
PSG’s potential pursuit of Osimhen promises to be one of the most talked-about transfer sagas in the upcoming window.
