Petit also predicted that Chelsea would look to offload Sterling in the upcoming summer transfer window, but his high wages may be a barrier unless he’s willing to take a pay cut.

Despite Petit’s concerns, Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has expressed understanding of Sterling’s situation. Arteta, who previously worked with Sterling at Manchester City, acknowledged the winger’s commitment to the team and his efforts in training.
