Marcus Rashford’s future at Manchester United appears uncertain as reports suggest he is no longer part of manager Ruben Amorim’s plans.

The 27-year-old forward, who has seen limited game time since Amorim’s appointment, has only recently returned to the squad but remains on the periphery.

Despite lucrative offers from Saudi Arabian clubs, Rashford is reportedly keen to stay in Europe to boost his chances of regaining a spot in the England team.

According to The Sun, Napoli are closely watching Rashford’s situation and may propose an enticing swap deal involving Victor Osimhen.

Osimhen, a long-time Chelsea target, was expected to move to Stamford Bridge last summer. However, he instead joined Galatasaray on loan due to no club meeting Napoli’s valuation.

The Nigerian striker’s contract includes a £62 million clause, paving the way for a potential switch to Old Trafford in exchange for Rashford.

Napoli’s manager Antonio Conte, a known admirer of Rashford, sees the England international as a key addition to his Serie A title-contending squad.

If Rashford were to move, he would reunite with Scott McTominay, who left United for Napoli last summer and has thrived under Conte.

Reflecting on his own decision to join Napoli, McTominay told The Times: “It was a big choice for me and my family. I had to ask myself, ‘Do I want this?’ The answer was yes, and I’ve never looked back. I aim to be the best player and person I can be.”

As the January transfer window heats up, all eyes are on this potential blockbuster swap deal that could reshape both United and Napoli’s squads.
