This call-up came after Ludogorets’ center-back, Olivier Verdon, withdrew from the squad due to injury, prompting Rohr to make a swift adjustment.

Adilehou, who currently plays for Stade Laval in France’s Ligue 2, is no stranger to the national team, having last represented Benin in June 2022.

The 29-year-old defender arrived at the team’s camp on Wednesday night, joining his teammates in preparation for the crucial qualifiers.

With 17 caps and one goal for Benin, Adilehou brings valuable experience and depth to Rohr’s squad as they aim to secure a spot in the 2025 AFCON tournament.
