Leicester City manager Ruud van Nistelrooy showered praise on Wilfred Ndidi following his side’s impressive 3-1 victory over West Ham United on Tuesday.

The Dutchman marked his managerial debut at the King Power Stadium with a resounding win, and Ndidi’s dominant display in midfield was a standout. The Nigerian international excelled in breaking up play and providing stability in the center of the park.

“Soumaré and Ndidi had an unbelievable game,” van Nistelrooy said. “They covered a lot of ground, won crucial duels and second balls, and were excellent in possession.”

The manager emphasized the importance of unity and hunger in achieving success in the Premier League.

“We realise how good the Premier League is and the performances we have to put in to get results. The foundation of that togetherness and hunger to achieve something is shown today,” he added.

Van Nistelrooy also highlighted how the team’s fighting spirit resonated with the fans.

“That reflected in the stands and only gives the players more spirit. That was the biggest win from today. Confidence is so important in football, and this performance builds it.”
