The match ended with Alexander Isak scoring the only goal, marking a tough result for the Gunners, who have now managed just one point from their last three Premier League outings and find themselves seven points adrift of league leaders Liverpool.

Despite the disappointment, Saka conveyed a message of unity, sharing the scoreline on his Instagram Stories with a caption that read, “We stick together!” His words reflect the team’s need for solidarity during this challenging period.

Manager Mikel Arteta expressed frustration post-match, acknowledging that his side deserved to lose. He noted, “We started really well and were really dominant. We didn’t defend the box well enough, credit to them. They scored a great goal with a good ball.”

Arteta emphasized that the team struggled to adapt after conceding and highlighted the missed opportunities: “We had two big chances… we lacked answers.”

Defender William Saliba echoed his manager’s sentiments, stating, “We are all a bit sad because we wanted to win today.”

He underscored the importance of unity, echoing Saka’s message: “We have to stick together. Last season we had one period like this, and we need to stay together and have the confidence to get out. We all believe we will come back.”
