Samuel Chukwueze played a role in Nigeria’s 1-0 victory over Libya, coming on as a substitute in the 62nd minute for Frank Onyeka. However, he experienced some discomfort in his leg towards the end of the match but managed to finish the game as Nigeria secured all three points at home.

Following the match, Chukwueze returned to AC Milan for further assessment on his injury and missed the Nigerian team that was stranded in Libya. Milan’s coach, Paulo Fonseca, has faced several injury concerns this season, but there’s optimism that players like Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Chukwueze could be available for the upcoming match against Udinese.

According to Sky Sport Italia, Chukwueze sustained a muscle injury during the match against Libya. Fortunately, the injury appears to be minor, and he has returned to full training with the Rossoneri. He is expected to be available for Milan’s clash against Udinese on Saturday at San Siro.

As of now, Chukwueze has yet to record a goal or assist for either club or country this season.
