Sergen Yalçın, the former Beşiktaş star, has praised Super Eagles forward Victor Osimhen, stating that the Nigerian is a superior striker compared to Fenerbahçe’s Youssef En-Nesyri.

Osimhen, who transferred from Napoli to Galatasaray this summer, has quickly impressed in the Turkish league, scoring four goals so far. His recent performance included a decisive goal in Galatasaray’s 2-1 victory over archrivals Beşiktaş.
In an interview with Ekol TV via haber sari kirmizi, Yalçın expressed confidence in Osimhen’s goal-scoring abilities, citing his reliability as a forward.
“You invest 18 million in En-Nesyri, but there’s no guarantee he’ll score the needed goals to secure the team’s success,” Yalçın stated. “With Osimhen, however, you have that assurance in the air.”
He added that if a club seeks a dependable center forward, they wouldn’t hesitate with a choice like Osimhen, noting that Fenerbahçe faces significant challenges in their offensive lineup.
