Besiktas face significant challenges in the Turkish Super Lig, trailing league leaders Galatasaray by a daunting 20 points.

Their Europa League campaign also hangs by a thread, as they sit one point shy of securing a play-off spot with two games remaining.

On the other hand, Manchester United is reportedly considering offers for both Rashford and Casemiro.

While Casemiro is open to a move to the Saudi Pro League, Rashford prefers to stay in Europe, with Barcelona rumored to be his preferred destination.

Addressing the possibility of Besiktas signing either player, Solskjaer told TRT Spor, “There’s always speculation about Manchester United players and myself. Casemiro and Marcus are excellent players, but I haven’t spoken to either of them.”

During a pre-match press conference on Tuesday, Solskjaer confirmed Besiktas is actively pursuing reinforcements in the January transfer window. “We’re exploring transfer options in a few positions,” he said, acknowledging the support of Serdar Topraktepe in the process.

“The group is starting to come together, and Serdar has been instrumental in helping me and the coaching staff build strong team energy.”
