The Super Eagles of Nigeria are gearing up for their AFCON 2025 campaign, starting with a Group C clash against the Taifa Stars of Tanzania.
The draw for the tournament’s finals was held at the Mohammed V National Theatre in Rabat, Morocco, on Monday night.

In addition to Tanzania, the three-time African champions will compete against Uganda in Group C.
Nigeria’s last encounter with Tanzania was during an AFCON 2017 qualifier on September 3, 2016, at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo.
Hosts Morocco will kick off the competition with an opening match against Comoros on Sunday, December 21. The tournament will span nine stadiums, promising an exciting display of African football.
