Super Eagles and Orlando Pirates center-back, Olisah Harold Ndah, is set for an extended spell on the sidelines after suffering a tibia fracture during a match against Polokwane City last month, according to *Soccernet.ng*.
The 26-year-old was substituted in the 84th minute, with his team already securing a 3-0 victory. His injury caused him to miss the Pirates’ crucial MTN8 cup win over Stellenbosch FC, a win his teammates credited to Ndah’s influence despite his absence.
Ahead of the Orlando Pirates’ Carling Black Label Cup opener against Magesi FC, the club confirmed that Ndah will miss the remainder of the year due to his injury.
“The Bucs medical department has confirmed that the 26-year-old has suffered a tibia fracture. Due to the location and nature of the injury, the decision on surgery is not straightforward. Based on this type of injury, Ndah has been ruled out for the rest of the year,” the club stated on its official website.
In addition to Ndah, Orlando Pirates are dealing with several other injuries, with nine players currently sidelined, potentially impacting their upcoming fixtures.
