According to the UK Guardian, Sir Jim Ratcliffe and the INEOS group, who are overseeing changes at the club, are more focused on restructuring behind the scenes.
Ratcliffe, who has already introduced sporting director Dan Ashworth, is prioritizing off-field improvements. Despite United’s disappointing eighth-place finish last season, Ten Hag has not been given specific performance targets for this campaign.
INEOS is currently concentrating on infrastructure upgrades, including a £50 million overhaul of the Carrington training facility.
