Arsenal legend Thierry Henry has highlighted key differences between Liverpool and Arsenal this season, pointing to the Gunners’ lack of aggression and dynamism as reasons for their struggles in the Premier League title race.

Liverpool currently lead the table with just one defeat in 15 games, while Arsenal trail by six points, having played an extra match.

Henry, speaking on Monday Night Football, criticized Arsenal for appearing too cautious in their approach.

“When I watch Liverpool, it looks like they’re trying to win the league,” Henry explained.

“When I watch other teams, including Arsenal, it seems like they’re just trying not to lose. If you want to win the Premier League, you have to go out there and grab it.”

Henry also pointed out Arsenal’s predictable attacking patterns, which often rely on Bukayo Saka to create chances.

“Right now, the only way we look like scoring is from set-pieces,” he said. “When Arsenal are in trouble, the ball goes to Saka. It’s too predictable, and teams have adapted.”

He added that while set-pieces have been effective, Arsenal must rediscover the creativity that defined them in previous seasons.

Arsenal will look to bounce back and gain ground on Liverpool when they face Crystal Palace on Saturday, while the Reds head to Tottenham on Sunday.
