Tottenham Expands Empire While Fans Demand Premier League Glory

Tottenham Hotspur’s reach extends far beyond football, with ventures in the NFL, music concerts featuring global icons like Beyoncé and Guns N’ Roses, and even go-karting.

Now, the club is promoting Netflix’s hit series Squid Game before festive matches against Liverpool and Wolves.

It’s another lucrative chapter for Spurs’ growing empire, but fans are asking the obvious question: why not invest these profits into building a Premier League-winning team?

The formula isn’t a mystery. Clubs like Manchester City, Liverpool, and Chelsea have translated heavy spending into consistent league success.

Even Arsenal, despite their 20-year title drought, remain a serious contender thanks to strategic investments.

Spurs, however, seem more focused on expanding their business ventures than assembling a squad capable of breaking their league-title curse.

Manager Ange Postecoglou has vowed to deliver Tottenham their first trophy since 2008.

He has a history of winning silverware in his second season at clubs, and the Carabao Cup offers a potential breakthrough.

A win against Manchester United in the quarterfinals could bring him closer to making good on that promise.

This season, Tottenham and United have shared a similar story—falling short of lofty expectations while showing occasional brilliance.

Both sides have beaten Manchester City, with Spurs achieving the feat twice. However, given City’s recent dip in form, those victories carry less weight.

When Spurs are at their best, they’re unstoppable, as seen in their ruthless performances against Southampton, Chelsea, Aston Villa, and West Ham.

United, on the other hand, remain inconsistent under Ruben Amorim, who replaced Erik ten Hag. As such, Tottenham enter the quarterfinal clash as favorites, with odds of 13/10 for a win and 14/1 for a 3-1 scoreline. Dejan Kulusevski is 12/1 to score the first goal and 7/2 to score anytime.

Other Highlights

  • NFL: The Denver Broncos have been on a hot streak, winning their last four games to reach a 9-5 record. Their upcoming Thursday night game against the 8-6 Los Angeles Rams promises a tough challenge. The Broncos are 13/10 to win, with Courtland Sutton at 9/1 to score the first touchdown.
  • Darts: Former champion Michael Smith kicks off his World Darts campaign against Kevin Doets. He’s 5/2 to win in straight sets, making him a strong bet for the tournament opener.

As Tottenham’s off-pitch empire continues to grow, fans will remain restless until the club turns its attention back to the ultimate goal: Premier League glory.
