Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly considering a Premier League manager to replace under-fire boss Ange Postecoglou, as the club’s dismal form continues.
The north London side suffered another setback with a 2-1 home loss to relegation-threatened Leicester City.

Despite Richarlison’s first-half opener, Leicester staged a four-minute comeback in the second half, pulling themselves out of the relegation zone and leaving Spurs reeling.
Tottenham’s fourth successive Premier League defeat leaves them languishing in 15th place, a mere eight points above the drop zone.
While the Spurs hierarchy has publicly backed Postecoglou, their patience may be wearing thin after a loss to a Leicester side that had lost seven league matches in a row.
Former England striker Emile Heskey predicts Postecoglou won’t remain at the helm next season and has tipped two current Premier League managers as potential successors. Speaking to Instant Casino, Heskey remarked:
“I can’t see Ange Postecoglou being at Tottenham next season. The team’s form is poor, and the results on the pitch simply don’t match the club’s ambitions. While they play entertaining, open football, the defensive frailties make it tough for fans to watch.”
Heskey highlighted Bournemouth’s Andoni Iraola and Brentford’s Thomas Frank as possible candidates for the job.
“Iraola has done wonders at Bournemouth, but moving to a high-pressure club like Spurs would be a significant challenge.
Frank, on the other hand, has transformed Brentford with a solid defense and excellent home form. Tottenham could do far worse than either of these managers,” Heskey added.
Iraola’s Bournemouth recently thrashed Nottingham Forest 5-0, climbing to seventh in the table, while Frank’s Brentford beat Crystal Palace 2-1 to secure 11th place.

Despite the mounting pressure, Postecoglou remains defiant. Speaking after the Leicester loss, he said, “It hurts a lot.
The players gave everything, but things didn’t go our way. We’re missing key players, but once they return, I’m confident we’ll turn things around.”
The Australian coach acknowledged the fans’ frustration but emphasized his team’s commitment. “This group hasn’t hit a ceiling.
They’ve given their all, and that’s all anyone can ask for. We’ll push through this tough period and come out stronger.”
While Postecoglou’s future remains uncertain, it’s clear the Tottenham board faces a difficult decision as the club’s Premier League struggles continue.
