Pedro Porro, Tottenham’s standout right-back, could be a key target for Manchester United as new manager Ruben Amorim is reportedly eager to bring him to Old Trafford.

Amorim, who is set to lead United for the first time against Ipswich Town this weekend, has already begun planning major squad changes, including a tactical shift to a 3-4-3 formation.
Porro, who spent two-and-a-half years playing under Amorim at Sporting Lisbon before his €40 million move to Tottenham in January 2023, is said to have an excellent relationship with the Portuguese manager.
According to Spanish reports, Porro’s camp is convinced that Amorim will push for a reunion at United, despite the current right-back depth at Old Trafford with Diogo Dalot and Noussair Mazraoui.
While Tottenham’s star has been a key player for Ange Postecoglou’s side, reports suggest that Real Madrid is also interested in the Spain international as a potential long-term replacement for Dani Carvajal.
However, Spurs are reportedly asking for €70 million, a fee that could limit both Real Madrid and United’s pursuit of Porro.
