Arsenal cruised to a resounding 5-1 victory over Sporting CP in a one-sided encounter at the Estadio Jose Alvalade.

The match started with an early breakthrough for Arsenal in the 7th minute, as Jurrien Timber provided the assist for Gabriel Martinelli, who slotted home to give the Gunners a 1-0 lead.

Just 15 minutes later, Bukayo Saka doubled their advantage, with a slick assist from Kai Havertz.

In the 45th minute, Declan Rice added another for Arsenal, assisted by Gabriel Magalhães, just before halftime, leaving Sporting CP with a steep task at 3-0 down.

However, Arsenal quickly regained control with a goal from Bukayo Saka in the 65th minute, and further extended their lead when Mikel Merino’s goal in the 82nd minute, assisted by Leandro Trossard, sealed a 5-1 win for the visitors.
