Speaking to the club’s official website, Boniface expressed his excitement about being back on the field.

“I feel happy, I feel great. It has been a long time since I’ve been out, I think almost two months, so to be back and playing games is really good for me,” he said.

He also highlighted the importance of scoring early, noting how it boosted the team’s confidence against a tough opponent.

Boniface has now scored seven goals in 11 league appearances for Xabi Alonso’s squad this season.
