Victor Osimhen has officially ruled out a January transfer move to Chelsea, emphasizing his commitment to Galatasaray until the season’s close.

The Nigerian forward, who joined the Turkish club on loan after negotiations with Chelsea and Napoli fell through in the summer, has made a significant impact, netting six goals in eight games.
Osimhen’s loan agreement includes a break clause, potentially allowing a January transfer to major European clubs like Arsenal, Chelsea, or Liverpool.
Despite this, Osimhen has firmly expressed his desire to remain in Istanbul, acknowledging the support he and his family have received from Galatasaray fans and the club.
Speaking after scoring twice in Galatasaray’s recent 3-2 Europa League win over Tottenham, Osimhen praised the club’s unity and fanbase, saying, “I’m here as a Galatasaray player, I’m happy here.”
The striker also noted his ambition to contribute to Galatasaray’s title race and their European campaign, stressing the importance of focusing on his current team’s goals.
With Galatasaray currently leading the Turkish Super Lig and advancing in the Europa League, Osimhen is determined to give his all for the club’s success, adding that his focus is solely on helping Galatasaray achieve its objectives this season.
