The Nigerian striker, who has been in exceptional form since joining the Turkish side on loan from Napoli in September, has scored nine goals in his first 11 matches. This sensational start has already caught the attention of top European clubs, with Chelsea, Manchester United, and Paris Saint-Germain all previously linked with his signature.
While a potential January move remains possible due to a break clause in his loan deal, Osimhen is focused on his time at Galatasaray. Transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio confirmed that Osimhen has no desire to leave midway through the season.
“Osimhen is very happy at Galatasaray and wants to stay until the end of the season,” Di Marzio stated. “He doesn’t want to talk to other clubs right now, though I’ll leave some room for Galatasaray to negotiate with Napoli for a permanent deal.”
Despite his commitment to Galatasaray for now, Osimhen is aware of the ongoing speculation surrounding his future. He plans to use the remainder of the season to continue impressing, with hopes that Premier League clubs could make a move for him in the summer.
“I know there is interest from a Saudi club, but I don’t want to leave now,” Osimhen revealed. “I want to give this season everything I have and wait for the Premier League clubs to decide whether they want to make an offer to Napoli.”
Paris Saint-Germain remains a potential suitor, following a failed bid for Osimhen in the summer, but the striker remains focused on his goals at Galatasaray.
Osimhen recently emphasized his commitment to the Turkish giants, saying, “I’m happy here, and I want to give my all for this club, both in the league and in the Europa League.” Despite the transfer rumors, his focus is on helping Galatasaray achieve their goals this season.
