Osimhen, who netted twice against Kayserispor on Sunday in the Turkish League, has been in sensational form since his summer move to Galatasaray from Napoli.
The 24-year-old forward has now scored nine goals in 11 league appearances, making an immediate impact in Turkey.
Speaking to Africa Foot, Taiwo highlighted Osimhen’s readiness to take the next step in his career by joining one of the Premier League’s top clubs.
“Victor is back to his best and is ready to return to the big leagues,” Taiwo said. “Several teams are looking to strengthen their attack, and he should be at the top of their list.
Right now, the market is more favourable than in the summer, and Napoli are willing to sell.”
Taiwo believes that Premier League powerhouses such as Manchester United, Chelsea, or Arsenal would be ideal destinations for Osimhen.
“If Manchester United, Chelsea, or Arsenal approach him, he should seize the opportunity,” Taiwo added.
Osimhen’s resurgence at Galatasaray has reignited interest in the Nigerian forward, who endured a turbulent summer after leaving Napoli. With the January transfer window approaching, speculation surrounding his potential move to a major European club is expected to intensify.
Whether Osimhen opts to make the leap in January or continues to prove himself in Turkey, his performances have solidified his reputation as one of the most sought-after strikers in world football.
