West Ham United have successfully negotiated a loan deal with Brighton & Hove Albion for striker Evan Ferguson, a former transfer target for Arsenal and Chelsea.
The 20-year-old forward, once considered one of the Premier League’s brightest prospects, is set to travel to the London Stadium on Sunday to complete his medical.
This move reunites Ferguson with West Ham’s recently appointed manager, Graham Potter, who originally handed the Irish international his first-team debut at Brighton.
Ferguson will remain with the Hammers for the remainder of the season, bolstering their attacking options as they push for European qualification.
