Who Will Arsenal, Liverpool, Man City, and Villa Face in the Champions League Next Stage

Arsenal, Liverpool, Manchester City, and Aston Villa have all advanced to the knockout stages of the 2024/25 UEFA Champions League after a thrilling group phase.

With the draw for the next stage fast approaching, fans of these teams are eagerly awaiting to see who their sides will face next in what promises to be a thrilling knockout phase.

Arsenal secured their place in the last-16 with a 2-1 win over Girona, finishing third in their group. They will now face one of AC Milan, PSV, Feyenoord, or Juventus.

Manchester City, despite a rocky group phase, managed to sneak into the knockout phase after a 3-1 victory against Club Brugge.

However, they must first overcome a playoff tie against either Real Madrid or Bayern Munich before progressing to the last-16.

Liverpool, after winning their first seven matches, finished at the top of their group, although a second-string XI lost 3-2 to PSV in their final match. They will face one of PSG, Benfica, Monaco, or Brest in the last-16.

Aston Villa, making their first European appearance since 1983, claimed a 4-2 win against Celtic to secure their place in the top eight. They will face either Atalanta, Borussia Dortmund, Sporting Lisbon, or Club Brugge next.

The Champions League knockout phase draw will take place on January 31, with the first legs scheduled for February 11-12, and the return legs on February 18-19. The round-of-16, quarter-final, and semi-final draws will follow on February 21.
