Atalanta have firmly ruled out selling Ademola Lookman during the January transfer window, despite interest from Premier League giants Liverpool.
As reported by Tuttosport, the Italian club has already rejected Liverpool’s approach for the Nigerian forward.
Since joining Atalanta, the 27-year-old has blossomed into one of the world’s top attackers.
Last season, he played a pivotal role in helping the club secure their first-ever European trophy, delivering a stunning hat-trick in the Europa League final against Bayer Leverkusen.
Lookman has continued his excellent form this season, tallying 11 goals and 5 assists in 19 appearances across all competitions. His remarkable performances earned him the title of African Footballer of the Year earlier this week.
