Bayer Leverkusen midfielder Granit Xhaka has commended the importance of Super Eagles striker Victor Boniface, highlighting his contributions to both the club and Nigeria’s national team.

“It’s always difficult because you don’t have a lot of time to adapt, enough time to work through the tactical setup every day with the same coach and players. But everyone wants to play for their country,” he said.
The former Arsenal captain praised Boniface’s abilities, describing him as essential for Bayer Leverkusen and a promising asset for Nigeria.
“He’s important for us at Leverkusen and, for sure, he’ll be important for Nigeria in the future. I’ll say stay calm because he’s a great guy and a great footballer,” Xhaka remarked.
