Vincenzo Morabito, an Italian football agent, has shut down speculation that Manchester United might sell Joshua Zirkzee in January.

Despite rumors linking him with a move to Napoli, the agent made it clear that the club has no intention of parting ways with the 23-year-old forward.

Zirkzee, who joined United from Bologna in the summer, has had a slow start to his Red Devils career, scoring just three goals in his first 21 appearances.

His performance came under scrutiny following United’s 1-1 draw with Ipswich, where coach Ruben Amorim called out the young attacker.

This led to speculation that the club might consider letting him go during the winter transfer window.

Serie A side Juventus had been linked to the player, with their coach Thiago Motta reportedly eager to reunite with Zirkzee, whom he worked with at Bologna.

In addition, Italian reports claimed that Napoli, under Antonio Conte, was also keeping tabs on the situation, potentially preparing an offer for the striker.

However, Morabito swiftly dismissed these rumors in an interview with Radio Marte, emphasizing that Zirkzee is still adjusting to Premier League football.

He explained that such adjustments are normal and that United has no plans to sell or loan out the player, even temporarily. “It’s too early to talk about a move.

Zirkzee’s adaptation to United’s tactics is ongoing, and he’s not going anywhere,” Morabito stated.

Zirkzee’s contract at Old Trafford runs until 2029, and while he has not started United’s last two matches, his recent performance against Everton, where he scored twice, suggests he is regaining his confidence.

After the match, Zirkzee expressed his gratitude to his teammates for their support during his goal drought, saying, “It’s always tough when you’re not scoring, but my teammates kept me positive, and I’m grateful for their help.”
